I truly enjoyed myself and would like to return next year. The accomodations were great. Nelson and his family could not have done more to make my stay any more enjoyable. I had plenty to eat. Food was always readily available. Every morning either Nelson or Ida would make my coffee. I rarely had to ask for this or anything else. Living in the village made for a most enjoyable experience and one that I hope to repeat in the future.
I really enjoyed teaching at the school during the day. It seemed like you and I were doing what we wanted to do at the school. I think it is important for both volunteers and students to have this kind of exposure. You can reach more of them by being present at their school during the day.
The weekends were great. I appreciate the time you took to take me to all of your favorite places while at the same time asking me what I would like to do.
I am glad that the focus was always on the teaching and after school program with a lot of dedication on your part. I was there to teach and help out with your program any way possible. I was not there for a joy ride and any future volunteers need to understand that as well. It is not one big party atmosphere. Everybody is there for the children.
I thought the overall cost was extremely reasonable. In fact, as I told you while there, it was one reason why I chose to come. Many of the other opportunities were too expensive. Additonally, it is nice to know that a portion of my money is directly helping the people in the village.

This village is beautiful enough to make any visitor feel like a millionaire in paradise. I thank the organisation, in other words Vince principally, for the exciting opportunity of volunteering. Not a day goes by where I do not feel a certain gust of joy at the memory of my time there. Bennde Mutale really changed my life. Now it is time for me to try and change the people's lives as significantly by supporting this organisation in every way I can. Count on me! Ha-una matata! -Hannah (Summer 2008 Volunteer)
